Khalifa told his 32.6 million Twitter followers about his diagnosis on July 14. He performed at Appalachian Power Park in West Virginia last week. The “See You Again” rapper has had a rather busy concert schedule this month. Khalifa performed in Las Vegas during the week of July 4.

“Okay loved ones….sooo…..Ya boy got covid. No symptoms. Just stay away from me for a lil while,” he wrote on Twitter.

His tweet received a slew of mixed comments. Many referenced a tweet of his from June 2020 where he made a remark about wearing face masks. Others gave him advice and wished him a speedy recovery. Khalifa also told his fans what he will be doing in quarantine as he recovers from COVID-19.

In his exit interview, Khalifa detailed all of his upcoming projects.

“I got a lot of other different businesses that I’m into right now,” he said. “I got my weed business, Khalifa Kush. I got McQueen, which is my alcohol business. I just became a part owner in the MMA league called PFL. Just a ton of different things.”
